Dice Designer

Game concept by Stone Librande

Two players, Red and Blue, each design a six-sided die.

Their dice must be evenly weighted, and the numbers on the sides must add to 21 (just like a standard [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] die).

Then Red and Blue play their dice against each other, highest roll wins.

Drag the sliders below to see how the game changes with each player's choice of die.

Red Die

[6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Best: 68% vs [6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Worst: 68% vs [6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Expected: 54% overall

Blue Die

[6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Best: 68% vs [6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Worst: 68% vs [6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1] Expected: 54% overall

Red wins 60%
of the time.

Each column represents one possible die. Bars above or below the line show how often the coloured die wins or loses against each of the other dice.
